enough already
Okay, Okay, about a month ago I was bitching about global warming and the lack of a true winter. I'm sorry. I regret it. If I could take it back I would.
I'm not sure about where you, dear reader, live, but it has been rather frigid this past week. At first the weather people would taunt us that it would snow overnight, and therefore all cold would, obviously, be worth it for a run down the park's tall hill. After repeated mornings of:
Alarm: Beep beep beep
TS: ahhmhmm, did it snow? I think I heard a plow
me: hmmmuhh, [getting out of bed and going to the window] no, no snow [scramble back under covers]
we decided that the weatherpeople were idiots. I've noticed the past few days that the weather isnt even a headline on the news. I guess no one wants to hear that its more of the same.
Myself, its not even so much the bitting wind as I walk around, but really, the lack of clothing options.
I mean, I've been wearing the same boots, everyday, for 3 weeks straight. There are only so many smartwool socks and longunderware that a gal can own, only so many warm sweaters to have in rotation for work.
I am ready for not wearing 2 coats at once. I am ready to return to (otherwise scarf-pulling)dangly earrings. I am ready for some shoes that show a little ankle, much less the peeptoes that have been taunting me with their BOGO sale.
